Safe Travels
"I challenged myself with this body of work to reconsider and abstract themes I have used in the past. I took a more visceral approach and allowed myself to riff, flow, and adapt on the fly while holding myself to a high standard to the technical craft of the work. My previous art practice was much more reliant on “a plan” and knowing exactly what all the steps were from beginning to end. While there was more unknown going into this body of work I am much more proud of this outcome. I felt like I was able to work instinctively and be ok with making some mistakes along the way." - Regan
